CYBERSECURITY
Falconwood’s cyber professionals, comprised of Risk Management Framework professionals (ISSOs, ISSEs, Validators, AOs), cybersecurity analysts, inspection specialists, and internal controls specialists form a Cybersecurity community of practice that integrates cyber and test & evaluation activities into the acquisition and system development lifecycle. As a result, we help clients identify vulnerabilities, manage risk, and implement security processes that improve the protection of their IT systems and critical resources. We are agile, effective, and innovative in meeting our clients’ missions, applying our depth and breadth of experience.

Researched, developed, and recommended solutions to integrate people, processes, and technology toward a process framework.

Lead process improvement efforts to increase efficiency, quality, and documentation of the team's support of the customer. (Documentation, SOPs, etc.).

Identified efficiencies in Cybersecurity processes and automated tasks in areas of improvement that are identified, for example with document review.

Facilitated the communication and analysis of cybersecurity activity between Operational and Acquisition community organizations.

Ensured the collection, organization, quality, formatting, and reporting of information to support the PEO Digital Cybersecurity and RMF Package Submitting Office (PSO) team.
What We Do

Lead process improvement efforts aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, response times, communications (Distribution lists, Automation, etc.), and documentation of the team’s activities supporting the customer.

Handle incident response review, distribution, and ensuring incidents are tracked to satisfactory completion between required organizations and POCs.

Lead efforts to communicate, document, and report cybersecurity operations information between Navy Operational and Acquisition organizations.

Apply cybersecurity subject matter expertise to analyze and provide recommendations on data related to operational policy, strategy, activities, and events (including but not limited to EXORDs, OPORDs, TASKORDs, CTOs, IAVMs etc.), tools, potential threats, and Operational progress.

Extract metrics and data, and prepare reports utilizing tools such as eMass, Tableau, and Microsoft Productivity suite (SharePoint, Teams, PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate).

Manage the collection of cybersecurity status information from stakeholders, and prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, presentations, spreadsheet, graphs, charts, and briefs on that information for the client's presentation to senior executive leadership.
