Partner with Warrior Canine Connection as a Puppy Parent
Falconwood is pleased to participate in Warrior Canine Connection, a pioneering organization that utilizes a Mission Based Trauma Recovery model to empower returning combat Veterans who have sustained physical and psychological wounds while in service to our country. Falconwood serves as a Puppy Parent helping to raise the service dogs for approximately two years before they graduate and are placed with a forever Veteran.

Falconwood's First Service-Dog-in-Training, WCC Rocky, held by Army Veteran / NFL Player Rocky Bleier, after whom the dog was named.
WCC Rocky was a ‘good dog’ who completed his training early, in only 18 months and was placed with a Veteran in need.
Falconwood's newest puppy, WCC Thundercat, is named in honor of United States Army Major Tom Deierlein who’s combat injury in Baghdad inspired his committed to serving others and led to his establishment of the TD Foundation, a volunteer organization dedicated to aiding the children of wounded warriors and fallen heroes, providing crucial support to Veterans’ families in crisis. His call sign in Baghdad was “ThunderCat 6”.
